I'm looking for an accounting firm to handle both my US and French taxes, both personal and business.听 Someone who knows their way around the tax treaty, etc.听 Any recommendations would be appreciated.

I believe that Frenchconnectionshcb has s team or an associated firm. I plan to start by watching their five new videos on taxes as a way to become familiar with them ( although it doesn't seem like watching a video on taxes going to be fun).One aspect to look at and prepare for is that French inheritance tax is high. I believe there is a way to work around this.

I use Jonathan Hadida's Tax firm as well. Not cheap but excellent quality. You won't get an unpleasant surprise a year or two after they have done your taxes.听 They specialize in US citizens living in France. I learned about them here and am grateful I did.

I had taxes blow up in my face in Portugal when neither my accountant or their IRS knew what they were talking about, when they told me I would only pay taxes in the US, then three months later sending me a bill for 12,000 euros.

They go by Hadtax.com.

Perhaps there might be some other highly skilled tax services here people may like?
