Absolutely Anything Else
Cousin just informed me my bro was moved on Jan.8th.
Sure takes time for their system to let us know!
I hope this is his last move till he is sprung.
I also hope since he is suppose to be in the min; security section that he has more freedom of movement.
The old place just let them out 2 hours a day.
Just read Trump is coming to Hungary in March to help OV with his election.

Blinking Trump. I'm sick of looking at him. Like just because he's coming, it would make anyone decide for OV?  I think people already know what they are doing and positions are entrenched.  Trump is not the model for society we need. It's 90% dystopia.
I saw Machado gave Trump her physical Nobel prize (Trump didn't win it, she did, and it's irrevocable).  I almost threw up looking at the pictures because Trump and ICE are beating on and shooting up Venezuelans in Minneapolis. Ok, there are crooks everywhere, but while Machado's fawning over Trump, he's bigly cosying up to Ms "Delcy Rodriguez" Maduro Part II and saying stuff like Machado's got no support.  WTF is going on? Are they all drunk on "success" post-Maduro?  That was easy so it's all easy.  What are they going to do with Iran? TACO moniker is back again - bottled out as Iran is in no way a pushover.   Â
Maybe your bro's previous problems with violence meant he'd be in a worse level but since his medical issues, he's less likely to kick off what with one leg and the wheelchair.  Maybe he can get some anger management courses? Or unofficial support from fellow Level 1 inmates? I am sure there's a better class of perp in Level 1.  I still think he should be out on bail and/or tagged.
Yes,they get high on power.
I mean just how much money does anyone really need? It can not be about money but power and control.
Yes, my bro is a real sweet kind guy but he has issues with women who manipulate him.
He always went for the secret bad girls.
His first wife, the mother of his son was 15 and he 16 when they met.
Mom was not happy about him dating just one girl at such a young age.
She fooled us all, acted very mature for her age. Her mom had health issues and she helped her mother with everything,parents seemed solid.
Mom was so happy she lived long enough to attend their wedding when he was in his early 20s. They dated for years and we all thought she was good for him;
No, just about the day after they moved into their first apt; she started and affair with the apt; manager!
Then she got on heroin!
Crazy, she later after their divorce hooked up with a guy who,s parents were ultra wealthy. They did not marry soon enough before the guy died out of the blue. His parents outlived him so no money for her!
Second wife was a very pretty Mexican lady who had a high profile job in the record industry. Sort of a hostess for bands, would book their hotels, make sure they got everything they needed, set up rides etc; for them. A very friendly lady with a nice personality. We met her in Vegas and found her fun to be around. Very charming person.
Well, she is the one who got him his first DV charge. Bro came home from work and found her having fun with his best friend at the time.
Threw his so called BFF through a plate glass window and spent 6 months locked up.She is the one who sold everything and had plastic surgery, he lost it all and seems he is losing it all again.
This was well over 30 years ago.
Now this new drama queen in his life!
Looked at the prison he is in now, guess who some of their guests are?
The Menendez brothers!!
Holy cow!
If he needs a partner later on, he should find a nice one legged women with a good disability check!

Well, I guess no-one forgets past records and no-one can be trusted until they can be. But how does one get rehabilitated. I think he's made a lot of dodgy choices in the past. It's not normal to end up with manipulating partners. One of my relatives is suffering from that.  His Mrs has no credibility at all with us. We think she's a grifter.Â
I know nothing about your bro but I have to say it. Not trying to be rude or anything like that, but could his partner choices be some mother issues being replayed out each time? Â
Menendez Bros eh? I don't know much about them but I saw them on TV and they were convicted of murdering their parents. I've no idea if they had a fair trial but I'd have thought Level 1 was a bit weak for convicted murderers.  I suppose they could be "jail royalty".  If they did kill their parents, probably no-one will mess with them.
Yes, my poor bro lost his father when he was gosh, 9 or so.
My mother was very head strong, she had to be but not a great example for a son I suppose.
Her way or the highway.
I took the highway at 17 but not everyone is as antsy as me.
Sad, really, if his father had lived I know he would be different.
His first wife had been hard working and kind but changed, The 2nd ones were divorcees and made more money then my bro did, twice as much.
No excuse but I understand him.
Level 1 is where he is suppose to be but these prisons are huge and have all levels in the complex.
I think they do not mix levels if possible but then again a person with traffic violations can be a cell mate with a rapist or killer.
Took the bus over to the outdoor market today.
For some reason the song by Weird Al Yankovic popped in my head, Another one Rides the Bus.
It was not even overly crowded.
It is a bad system in the US.
If you are on their bad side, they mess you up.
Heard sometimes people with less then 5 years time are cell mates with lifers.
Anything could happen, scary.What does a lifer have to lose?
BTW, no offence taken about my bro having some issues.
I am the first to bring it up.
No wonder my friend list is so small, I like the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.
Not exactly they way to make friends and influence people.
I never stroke anyone,s ego.
I dislike it when I feel anyone trying to stroke mine.

I might be naïve but I always thought prison was for rehabilitation, not punishment.Â
But I always hear from political extremists that they want the state to take revenge for wrongdoing.  That's not the role of the state in my mind.
I've been the victim of petty crime here and what I really would have wanted was restitution and an apology.Â
Lifers in the UK usually get out after 20 years. Even for murder. And there's no death penalty anywhere around here. Life doesn't actually mean life in many cases. Some crimes though are so heinous, the perps never get out. I cite the .  I was a child back then and it scared the living daylights out of me what people were capable of.
In the US if an inmate is sentenced to 15,20 , etc. to life it just means they must serve the min sentence before going to parole. They may wind up doing 17 years on a 15 to life sentence. If they are sentenced by the judge to life without parole, then it is real life locked up.
I am learning all about it, sadly.
Great news though, my bro is up for parole in June not Sept.
Really they should just let him walk, roll, now but he insulted the system by breaking probation.
Guess it had nothing to do with his DV case but about not listening to their rules.
I looked up The Moors Murders.
Horrible, in a US prison the inmates would take care of them both.
Certain crimes are too much for the hardest of the hard to put up with.
Glad you only experienced a petty crime.
It feels horrible to be a victim of anything petty or major.
I had some loon point a gun at my head and it was both scary and infuriating.
Really thought I was going to , bite the bullet for a few seconds.
Total strange too.
Crazy me, after he drove off I started to chase his car!
I wanted his full plate number, only got half of it.
Still, since it was a newish dark brown Mercedes 450 SL and the guy was middle aged, you would think it would easy easy to find him with half a plate number.
Hard to prove I suppose unless others reported him also and he had a rap sheet.
At least I reported him, never know he might of done that to others.
What gets me is on those crime shows whenever a weapon is used, people just get in the car and hope for the best.
Never works out well, just gives 2 crime scenes instead of one.
If they mean harm then bring it on .To move out to a remote location is worst.
My mother was attacked before I was born.
Walked home from night shift with a few other ladies. Turned by herself for the last block to our house.
Was grabbed from behind while passing the park on the sidewalk; Guy put a knife to her throat and started to drag her backwards into the park.
My mom was a tiny but tough lady. She fought back somehow he hit her, she hit him all sorts of action on the sidewalk before going into the park;
A couple drove by and noticed the fight, first thy thought it was a domestic issue and wanted to stay out of it. They way my mother was fighting though made them rethink it. They called the cops; Mom was not thankfully raped but she was black and blue, so was the guy from what I can guess; He ran off and the police took mom home; My father had a huge lecture from the police about her walking home alone. He was babysitting my 2 sisters and worked during the day.Mom quit her job after that.
I mentioned before, my uncle, moms older half bro was a professional boxer. He taught mom some moves, they came in handy for sure. The attacker was probably surprised when his victim gave him a few good shots.
Chip wreck! Thousands of chips wash ashore on the beach

Thousands of bags of chips have washed up on a beach in Sussex.
The chips washed up near Eastbourne after several shipping containers containing "food and packaging" came ashore nearby earlier this week.
In the past six weeks, three separate incidents have seen 24 shipping containers washing up in Selsey Beach in West Sussex, among many such along the Sussex coastline.

Interesting that the gulls won't have to steal the chips from visitors. The onions look workable.
@fluffy2560
It's the plastic bags and the netting, which are the real issue, danger to wildlife.

Usually they let UK criminals out after 1/2 their sentence. Then go on license/parole and can be recalled if they break the terms of the license. Sounds like your bro has recurrent issues. Is there any programme to rehabilitate for your bro? Deal with anger issues?Â
Sorry to hear your Mum was attacked. My sister was also attacked with some perp trying to drag her into the bushes.  She managed to get away but it shook her up. I never knew about at the time as I was a tiny kid. She was about 13 I think.  We tried to get our daughter to learn Aikido but while she went a few times, she didn't like the teacher. So that was the end of that. I do wonder about her overestimating her own abilities.
Last night, she was out at a birthday party in Szolnok and planning to come back at 3am by train on her own. Mrs F said, no way, and went to get her in the car. And this is mid-week. This is a typical and recurring situation where I keep telling our kid to get a driving license. She could have driven herself there and driven herself back.  No drinking of course but drinking is bad for you anyway. Â
I do say to our daughter that she needs to think how she uses Mum as a taxi driver in the middle of the week. Mum has to go to work the same day but getting to bed at 5am or not sleeping at all is not a good idea.
Of course, the organiser of the party could have done it at the weekend. That would have made more sense.
Or the person throwing the party could of let everyone sleep on the floor till daylight hours.
Watched a horrific crime story last night that still has me shaken to my core;
Japan, 1988, the sad case of Junko Furuta.
Every person needs to know a safe word, no matter their age. She might of been saved if she had one and could of told her parents on the phone.
Best for people to stay in a group.
I am totally shocked about the light sentence these monsters got.
If they were skinned alive that would not fit the crime, maybe boiled alive would be more fitting.
Speaking of crimes, my bro sent a letter, said now he does have hot water in his cell but it does not shut off, the floor is flooded, he needs to put towels down.
Great for a one legged man to dodge puddles!
They gave him a 23 year old gang banger to push him around; He knows why the kid volunteered to help him;
He just leaves my bro in his chair with a towel on after the shower and goes downstairs to make his drug deals and see the other bangers. Bro is put on hold.
Nice service!
He asked to be put in a jail closer to home but no, sent him hundreds of miles away.
We are finally going to step up and send him some funds, he needs them now.
June can not arrive fast enough!
Also he is suppose to be in a level 1 yard. But no, they put him in a level 3!!
Doubt they know what they are doing inside there at all!
No, jail is for torture not for rehab.
If I was young and thinking of a career, I might look into jail reform as a project.
Had no idea how backwards it is;
Yes, some people should fry but there are many inside who have no business being there, just bad luck and few stupid mistakes.
