Application for the D8 Nomad visa

Hello All ,

I Am in the聽 process of applying for the D8 Visa for portugal and have a question about the 3 months bank statements required .

聽 I have savings of 拢50,000 and my monthly income is generally in excess of the 3280 ( euros ) required for the visa . However July and August are often quiet as has been the case this year in august yet the months previous very flush . My questions are :

* Should i wait until September contracts have been received before I submit the application for say ,December, or apply now anyway ? ( some people have said to just move my savings around for the august ?)

*Do they really only require the last three months or can they go further back ?

* Are savings taken into account ?

* other income - ie rental income/ tax refund聽 ?

Hi @Zacharias1970, Welcome.

Bank statements are usually for the last 6 months. Income fluctuations during vacations are understandable, so if you can provide statements for the last 12 months, for example, that would be perfect.

Personal savings are not usually taken into account.
