Where to live?

Hello,
We are considering moving to Portugal and will be there for a few weeks very soon.

We currently have a large ranch-style home ( 1 level)聽 home and our own private pool. We aren't sure if this is doable in Portugal and would like to check out homes to purchase.

Can anyone share neighborhoods they may have found or areas to look in just outside of Lisbon or within 20-30 minutes that may help us narrow down locations?

Hi Ginacrobinson1, Welcome

If you want places between 20-30 minutes from the Lisbon airport, it is difficult to find, considering the characteristics you are mentioning here. The closest are:

Lisbon neighbourhoods: Restelo, Lumiar,...
West: Cascais, Oeiras, Estoril, Carcavelos, Mafra, Belas, ...
South: Azeit茫o, Palmela, Benavente, Santo Est锚v茫o, Aroeira, ...

There are other options a little further away, just over 1h.

You could have a look North of Lisbon (as far as Torres Vedras) as well. By car and using the A8 it takes 30-35 minutes to the airport and about the same time to Campo Grande (two metro lines are there). You might find what you are looking for e.g. at the Campo Real Golf Resort.
