What are your end of year plans amidst the crisis in Spain?

I hope you are well.

As the year is ending, many countries, including Spain, went back into lockdown. So the end of year celebrations are going to be different amidst the global health crisis.

As an expat in Spain, what are your end of year plans?

Are you considering a small family gathering, or would you rather keep your distance?

Are you planning to stay in Spain or to go back home?

Rolling the dice of life.
I'm actually in Benidorm having landed seven days ago, I've been allowed to travel as I'm emigrating from England.
I wanted to emigrate for years but health ruled it out.
Well medication change and I'm here, just been in town hall to register pre-Brexit.
Its surprisingly open here,there are "oblivious to see" many places closed.
I hated one sign "closed till virus does one".
Definitely trepidation and anxiety about the future but I can detect some optimism too.
I'm not letting this virus control my life, I live around it.
Use every reasonable precaution (and a whole lot of hope).
We are getting through this and I for one cant wait for the whole world to go into "party mode" once the virus is controlled.
(After a pause to remember those that succumb to the virus).

I'm really hoping the municipal borders open for Christmas otherwise it will be Dinner For One, without even the butler. Although I do have friends within my municipality they are more coffee friends than Christmas dinner ones (guesting or hosting!)

There I've said it,

I'm ex-military and the only thing that truly ever scared me was germ warfare.
Every soldier thinks hes an indestructible "Rambo" until he learns about N.B.C. / germ warfare.
Kuwait 91 ,all the lads ready and loud to go into action.
Guns,rockets, tanks, attack chopper escorts.
"Gonna get-some whopp-arse !"

Then they hand out the nerve agent injection pens and the place went silent聽 !!

hi everyone

havent posted on here for ages but saw an email so clicked it

i booked a xmas eve ticket months ago to travel but i dont know now

would be to see my mum whos been ill so lots to think about

if not will be at home alone in sunny la linea de la concepcion i will try and stuff a turkey in my microwave
