Contract is what is important not an offer letter, make sure you read it before you sign it. Also you have to work for the company who will sponsor your visa if you caught working for another company you will be fined and worst case deported.

Offer letter is meaningless.聽 It's only value is to complete departure procedures in your home country - as some government entities require it e.g. Pakistan needs it for protectorate of immigrant stamp.
