Update for Pakistan Passport Holders - Today's Events
I suggest you to go to near Police Station with your original CPR and Passport and try to register your fingerprints than apply again I wish Allah will help us All
If you are having managerial position then you will not be asked for finger prints. Whats your designation ? They have list and if your name is not in thier list they wont take your finger prints. I got my dependent visa on 14 November. Its getting smoother.
My company is also one of very large organisations of Bahrain.

That is not correct. I think they were starting from lower professions in the beginning.
I got a call today to go for fingerprints and my profession is investor (past work profession was managerial). They also asked for my son to come as well but when I mentioned that he is only 8, they said no need.  And it also seems that it is only for men as the females in my family were not asked to come.
And keep in mind that I already have fingerprints registered with CID for clearance certificate, fingerprints registered for advanced e-key and have been in Bahrain since 2014. So this is apparently a completely stand-alone and different process for Pakistanis only.
How long does it take for issuance of a visa once the security clearance has been successfully approved??
There is no guarantee that once yours are done, it will happen.  Though chances are much higher. But keep in mind that this being done for people ALREADY here. People who are outside and waiting to come in - don't really benefit from this. Until or unless the whole process is completed and the security threat is reduced - and they then relax the ban.

My residency mentions my occupation as Manager.

i have a question, as per the initial processing the only documents which the agent asked was the attested nikkah nama and my wife's passport copies (passport mentions my name as the husband).
I am not sure whether other documents such as lease agreement was supposed to be submitted. I have the lease agreement but the agent said that it is not required (although i had them with me)
. @xtang, can you confirm was the approach by my agent correct ?

If you read through my previous posts in this thread, you will note that I have said this clearly. There ARE some approvals here and there. These are mostly for visas for big multinationals and local companies. Similarly, there are also approvals for some people who have done their fingerprinting but not for every one. However, the majority of the visas are being rejected still.
What I do agree with: That people who hear one rumour from someone, believe that it is true and come here, post that and give others false hope - need to be more responsible. And read what other informed people have written in the thread.
If you read back to the very first post, when I started this thread, there were people who were coming here and saying that this news is false, we know from the Embassy and this person or that person.  The difference was that I had posted this after receiving credible and verified information directly from the source.  So what happened?  after a lot of confusion, we came back full circle to what was posted to begin with and what is now known as a fact to everyone i.e. the ban on Pakistani's.
Then we have had multiple dramas of.....Oh it is opening in 15 days etc etc. I have posted many times that there is no likelihood of something happening before the end of the year or most likely, nothing, before Q1. And that is IF it opens to begin with. We can very well go the route of Kuwait on this where Pakistani's were completely banned for years. So this situation is still very fluid and I would also urge people to be responsible and not post back unverified information.
I am so sorry to read about the trouble with visas for Pakistani brothers.
You mentioned in an earlier post that this unofficial "ban" includes other nationalities. Could you tell us about these please? Do you know if the ban includes Egyptian nationals ?
I hope things get resolved soon for every one. Thanks a lot.
The other issues that exist but not related to this, are new visas for Lebanese. Egyptians are ok but go through extra security checks and this takes much longer. But this has been the case for a while now.
KARACHI: In a twist of events, 15 persons who were arrested after travelling to Bahrain on Pakistani documents have now turned out to be Iran nationals.
A fact-finding committee headed by Director General National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) Sindh Mir Ajam Khan Durrani had been set-up after a letter from Bahraini authorities. The panel has concluded the arrested persons are actually citizens of Iran who had acquired fake Pakistani documents after paying heavy bribes to officials at Nadra, relevant passport offices and other government agencies.
Bahrain has deported the suspected ‘Pakistanis’ who were then arrested on arrival by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), however there was a doubt regarding their nationality given their unusually different dialects and looks.
When questioned, the group of men claimed they belonged to different districts of Balochistan including areas like Punjgoor, Turbat, Gwadar, Baleed. The Iranians were also issued fake CNICs in Karachi from different branches, including those located in Lyari, Awami Markaz, DHA Mega Centre and Memon Goth from between 2009 to 2018.
The fact-finding committee further disclosed staff at Nadra, FIA and various district government departments was involved in issuing CNICs and other documents to the Iranian citizens.
Each of the 15 persons paid approximately Rs400,000 in bribe for a CNIC and passport while four of them were also issued fake birth certificates, three were provided with forged medical certificates. The persons also managed to buy fake blood relations.
The investigating team also revealed seven of the arrested persons looked strikingly different than their attesting ‘families’.
Meanwhile, sources had informed the 15 Iranians were also unable to speak any local language including Urdu, Balochi and Pashtu to which the persons said they weren’t asked any such questions when they were being issued the documents
The report recommends all those who facilitated this scheme at any stage and in any way should be grilled.
as I applied for my wife's visa early this month and it was rejected.
