Hey, can anyone tell me the latest information about what tests are undertaken for the residency medical inside Kuwait shorty after arriving?聽 Is it HIV, hepatitis b, c and malaria only?聽 I read an article from 2018 saying they are including 21 more diseases including diabetes, herpes etc.聽 Thanks.

As far I know they do the following:
* Chest X-ray
* Blood tests:
- HIV
- Syphilis
- Hepatitis B & C
- Malaria
- Filaria
- Pregnancy test for women

I am not sure about other diseases.

There was news about adding more test but no confirmation.

Thanks for the reply. It would be unfair to refuse residency for herpes or something聽

Is there an official webpage from the ministry that lists the specific diseases that are tested?

It is in Arabic only above tests are mentioned and herpes is not included.
