Wakan Village, Cherry Blossoms of Oman

Have you ever visited Wakan Village which is an Omani traditional village with an altitude of 2000 meters above sea level?

The village is on the mountain and comprises 700 steps that will lead you through terraced gardens, apricot trees blooming with flowers in the month of February and having a cool temperature.

This place is very ideal for a picnic, leisure walk and enjoy the creation of nature.

I would recommend you to leave Muscat by 5AM to reach there by 7AM as the parking is a tough challenge. However if you are fine to walk a bit, you can park on the road side.
