I'm assuming that you've addressed the above query to me.

What your employer has told you is not exactly correct.

You may get flats for that rent, if at all, but they will be nowhere near new.

Also in the Seeb neighborhood independent Villas are more commonly found than residential apartment buildings like those you can find in Al Khuwair, Darsait, Ruwi and Mumtaz Area, to name just a few.

A good 2 BHK unfurnished flat will cost you nothing less than R.O. 400/- in rent per month, at the very minimum.

Renting an apartment is purely onto ur budget first of all. Please be specific about it. You can easily find an apartment at a rate of OMR 200 as well as OMR 700. The avialability of ACs in an apartment depends upon how old the apartment is. So its purely on your luck. Your second query is about the expenses for family of four. Can you expedite what 4 ? We assume that "Husband / wife / 2 kids (Depends on how old they are)". You can browse through various unnumbered threats, replied by Mr. Sumitran to different newly joined expats. Thirdly, I have no idea abouit the indian school fee structure as im not an indian Someone please help him !!!

At the end, i would suggest you to please be SPECIFIC and precised about questioning so that you can answered well.
