planning to shift to oman - Is 1800OR an ok salary for a doctor?

Hi I am a doctor living in india recently got an offer in oman sohar hospital .need advice of the lifestlye for Indians, cost of living and any savings possible? salary offered is 1800OR

i think聽 you negotiate聽 for 2000 or more . in private hospitals specialists are paid generally 2000 or more, or paid incentive聽 as percentage of聽 total income generating to them聽 from consultation/pharmacy/lab etc.

in govt聽 specialist are paid聽 >2500 minimum.

find out more before signing contract . because聽 if you leave oman on resignation or termination , can not avail othe opportunity for 2 years
