My thirst thought when I red your post was: why should a newbie like you, who doesn't聽 know anybody here on this blog send messages to persons when they are not even in their contact list?
Sending unsolicited copy and paste messages to people who are not on your contact list, is considered as spam and therefor you locked your mail system. To activate your mail system you need to post a certain amount of posts.

If you need information or you have questions, the best way to do is, to ask them in the forums of your choice.
This way you participate on the forums, which is one the main reasons why this blog exists, and people get to know you better if you share your own experiences too.

Of course, a nice introduction about yourself is also very appreciated. And after a short period you will see that you get request. Further I would like to mention that almost nobody accept requests from members which they don't know of, or if the reasons are not cleat聽 why they want to get connected.

Unsolicited, copy & paste private messages are the very definition of SPAM. There is absolutely nothing more annoying than opening your private mailbox and finding it loaded with junk messages from people who you don't know, and who don't know you, trying to sell you something you don't want and don't need. You then have to sort through all that garbage before you can even begin to figure out what messages are actually important.

And strange as it may seem you don't understand WHY your private message privileges were blocked?

When you registered for membership, you checked off a box that indicated that you have read, understood and agree to follow Expat-blog Terms & Conditions of Use and we also have a CODE OF CONDUCT on each forum. Have you actually READ any of them? If not, then perhaps now would be a good time to do so.
