Iqama validity of a dependent of the deceased sponsor

Dear readers,

My father recently passed away in Riyadh while my mother was under his sponsorship. I wanted to know if my mothers iqama would still be valid or whether she needs to exit the kingdom as soon as possible?

You would need to check with Jawazat whether she can transfer to your sponsorship. In fact, don鈥檛 ask but request for transfer. Theyl always say no if you ask them a generic question.

If this doesn鈥檛 work then you鈥檒l have to visit Tarheel department and ask for exit visa for your mother. May she find patience and peace.
