Hi, I would like to ask if someone here knows why the rear door speakers of the 2014 Nissan Altima is not working? I still did not go to the workshop of nissan to check it..

Not sure since I got the car last December 2, 2014. I noticed that the quality of the music is not good, and I found out that there is no sound at the rear door speaker. Im thinking, maybe there is no speaker inside that speaker grill but its an altima..

Really, your first approach should be to take the care into the dealership and have them check it out. You may very well be right in assuming that there are no rear speakers behind the grills.

If the dealership is too far away, or if taking it there will be too time consuming then you should look for a local car audio outlet that does installations and get them to check out the problem.

Thanks... Yes, that's the first thing in mind. I will check with the dealership on Wednesday to check it. Hope there is a speakers, since all base model cars comes with 4 speakers.. Otherwise I'll install 2 speakers at the rear deck instead...Dealership is a 30 mins drive only..

Guess you have already checked the 'fade'聽 option in the audio system. If yes better to check with the professionals

for cars that dont have USB drive or bluetooth, any alternative if i want to play music using a usb stick or comng from phone without need of any wiring installation?

Yikes, forgot that one........ good thing you reminded the OP, it could well be that somebody has set the fade controls to front speakers only. Good going on your call.聽

you can buy a modulator from Batha or any electronic shop.. you need to set your desired frequency on your modulator, like a radio. for eg. set it to 88.00 then plug in your usb on your modulator then turn on your audio to fm station same frequency from your modulator

I tried to set the Fade... its 0... if I turn to Rear fade.. not working..

how' the sound quality?聽 how about the 1.5 jack to USB adapter will it work to play music if i plugged in a USB stick?

Is it a new car? then my answer is probably a wire problem or missing speaker
if it's a second car? then all the above plus maybe a damaged speaker

Yes its a new car.. and I actually used the flashlight to see it from the speaker grill.. i can see a speaker from the front...but no speakers at the rear door.. its very unusual having 2 speakers only....
