Most of the members I think live here in Turkey (In our case Alanya/Mahmutlar). Most of the subscribers live here and purchased a house but more then some will have rented.

OK Ikamet was fine for all a year ago, but things have changed,

I have to say upfront, please refrain from commercials (we have contacts)

Alanya is mentioned to be Dubai of Turkey (ie expensive) and indeed it seems many people (who are renting) are seeming to leave (Germans, Russians, Ukrainers,..)

I just completed my application yesterday with the current residency expiring on the 27th.

I beleive it will be OK and straight forward if you have a property but I still feel slightly nervous about it because of what I've been seeing and hearing lately.
