Most requested details: Activities in Al Ain

FIRST of I am not an employee or affiliated to any of the organisations below.

Now I know everyone (including myself ) have been scouring the net for the info so I went ahead and called each place that I know compiled a list.

Expats like us need their adrenalin pumping and these are the options I found at the "hotels" recreation areas:

Hilton Al Ain:

Squash non member: 23/hour
Tennis non member: 50/h
Tae bo:  40- non members, 35 members. Tuesday 7pm
Circuit training: 40 Sundays 6pm
Tournaments in may

Racquets on rent: 23/h

Membership 3 months: 1900 access all service including pool, gym, sauna and jacuzzi.

Danat Al Ain (Intercontinental):


Squash: 35/h rent racquets: 35/h

Taebo/Pilates/Zumba/yoga/ cross training/karate/squash/aerobics

The days and timing are different for each the price is the same.

Non-Members
Dhs34.80 per class
  Dhs 290.00 block of 10 classes

Members & Hotel Guest
Dhs29.00 per class
  Dhs 232.00 block of 10 classes:

Membership 3 months: 1800 male, 1400 female (access to pool, sauna, gym and reduction in charges for all else)


Al Ain Rotana

Membership with access to all service like above: 1 month 1100

Squash: 20/h Racquet 20/h
Kickboxing: 50 for member 60 for nonmemebr saturday 6pm -7pm
zumba and kung fu is also available at same charges

Hotel Ayla

Membership 1 month : 950 - all acccess, no tennis, squash courts.
Pool : 80per day


I will be visiting the Tae bo and cross training facilities at each available place - will add a review post that.
