is it popular to share a flat in British Columbia ?

What advice would you give to those looking for shared accommodation in British Columbia?

Can you recommend specialized local websites or newspapers?

By the way, keep in mind there is a flat share/house share section in the Classifieds

Hi Christine.聽聽I am a 54 year old woman who was born in Vancouver BC聽聽The best websites to find accommodation are Kijiji and Craigs List!聽 There you will find shared accommodation, rooms/suites/condos/apartments/houses to rent.聽聽Vancouver goes from west to east along the waterfront.聽 Past Vancouver (going east) is Burnaby, new Westminster, surrey (avoid) as it is separated by a bridge) Richmond, (avoid because it is difficult to get to) coquitlam, port coquitam and then maple ridge.聽 If you are a family wanting to rent, it will cost you approx. $3,000-$6,000 a month to rent a 4 bdroom house in Vancouver unless it is a dump.聽 However you can rent a lovely house for $2,500 (4 bedroom) in Coquitlam....
