@James White81 I have read your article and it made me to response to your request because what you have written is absolutely true.聽 It's better to stay where you are if you are currently employed or own something where you are living.聽 Once you move to a different place you will need to consider spending from renting a place, car, insurance (for a car and a apartment), {Living expenses}.聽 Plus you will need food...etc.聽 So Canada isn't the place it used to be.聽 That's why Ontario driver plate used to say Yours to Discover - but now they changed it to Open for Business.

Cost of living has definitely gone up in Montr茅al, but day-to-day life is still very good compared to many major cities, with great healthcare and quality of life. If your husband鈥檚 job is secure, it鈥檚 worth weighing the stability and opportunities against the higher expenses.

Huh? Why not contact the embassy/consulate first?

No agency or individual will be able to explain the process to you better than the Canadian Gov't.

Why Canada? Anyone with any sense is leaving Canada.

Montreal is NOT anymore what it used to be. When I first came ( conservators ) it was so so, I went thru a crazy hard process BEFORE arriving ( about 4 years to get the permanent residency ). Once here, it got better and better. Hard work , but worth it.

With the liberals a lot has changed and in the past 4-5 years it has gone down the drain.

A lot of "asylum seekers" running from the US, coming to Canada , not helping Canada at all.
