Schools for American teenagers

Hi all,

I'm planning to move to Cancun in about a year for a year. I will be traveling with my friend and we have four children between the both of us. Academia is very important and we were wondering if anyone could recommend a good school for our teenagers that is americanized in that they speak English so or kids understand what is being taught (none of them speak a second language) but also offer an immersion program so they learn Spanish.聽 Please help!!!

Hello Christina,

You glad that I was living in Cancun for three years full-time. I just know a school that has聽 a combination of Mexican and American program in it. Half of the program is taught in English and Spanish, they have as well selection of foreign languages, plus for non-Spanish speakers there is a special course for them, called Special Spanish where they can take it for at least 2 years before getting into the Spanish course like domestic students would pursue.

The school is called International American School of Cancun.
