Hello everybody. How's life in Troy (Michigan) for families / for singles with 2 kids ? Planning to move from France to Troy within a year or so (I already have a job and work in several countries). What should I know to start our best new life there : accomodation, school (& pre-school), public transports, else ?

Troy est un super endroit pour les familles. Les 茅coles y sont excellentes (publiques et priv茅es), mais il te faudra une voiture car les transports en commun sont assez limit茅s. Pour le logement, tu trouveras des maisons ou apparts dans une large gamme de prix. C么t茅 climat, les hivers sont froids avec de la neige, mais les 茅t茅s sont agr茅ables. Si tu veux, je peux te mettre en contact avec une amie prof am茅ricaine qui a v茅cu des ann茅es dans le Michigan, elle pourrait t鈥檃ider 脿 mieux comprendre la r茅gion.

Hey! Troy is a great spot for families safe, good schools聽 especially Troy School District, and lots of parks. Housing can be a bit pricey, but the neighborhoods are really family-friendly. Public transport isn鈥檛 the best, so you'll likely need a car. For preschools, there are solid options, both public and private. You鈥檒l also find a lot of diversity here, which might be comforting coming from France. Good luck with the move!
