There is a skills list and if your field of expertise is on that list you get preference.

You should look into a student visa and do a course related to psychology in Perth. this will give you Oz qualifications and make it easier to get a job. On this visa you can work part time.

Your boyfriend will have to get a visa before he can work in Australia. 
I suggest you check out for visas.

A Google search for Indonesian communities and clubs Perth should give you some contact details.
Also Google hospitality work Perth and see what comes up or check out
