@abthree Thanx for asking. I was hamstrung because when I checked the notes it said "Europe" and obviously that is quite a challenge if you cannot at least narrow it down to one country.

I have not heard from him, but i reminded him a few weeks ago to wish my daughter a Happy Birthday (23rd). My daughter said he called and did though It may have been a message. This is good and very hurtful news. It seems that he is alive and well, but for whatever reason after a ton of calls after the 21st he has completely cut off communication with his Older Brother and in turn his 98-year-old Mother who we have 24hour care for here in Brazil. I am part of a very large Brazilian family, but the American side is very, very small.

@abthree Thanx for the reply. I have moved on from worrying about it. My only concern would be that my Brazilian mother who raised us since we were 8yrs. old is in my wife's care and 98. She definitly looks like she will be around for a while, but all the legal and health papers are in my brother's care. My father made him the Trustee before my father passed. Knowing my wife, we would just go about the right steps and if something happens just tell him when he does resume contact with us. "By the way while you were ghosting us your mother passed away"

P.S. My brother and I are not close, but we work together amazingly well. The only fight we had which may or may not be why this is happening, is a big argument we had when he wanted us to send him a Brazilian Death Certificate that basically said that she had lived her life in San Francisco but passed away while traveling. This totally drove me crazy because I am there day in and day out while my wife and her caretaker staff clean the sheets, provide the medicine, feed her and bring joy to her in her later years. To provide a document that would insinuite that this did not happen and all this time some hired help and not her immediate family, especially my wife was taking care of her made me very upset. Not sure why it was important to him, but he is in control of all her finances.... sorry .... what if anything he has left of her finances.
