Amazonas now is the worst in the country on a percentage basis -- 19.1 confirmed cases per 100,000 inhabitants, vs. 7.5 national average, and 16.7 for the Federal District.聽 Cases
are still increasing exponentially, in spite of the shutdown.聽 Secretary of Health has been聽 replaced, and I hope that we'll be seeing tighter enforcement going forward.

Amazonas and the Federal District are travel
corridors. So higher incidence.聽 I hope there
will be more stringent controls.

Ok friends, the IRS site to enter your bank information for direct deposit of stimulus checks is up. This is for people who did not file taxes in years 2018 & 2019 or people who did not file because they had an income below the threshold. People receiving SS retirement pensions, SSDI and survivor麓s benefits don麓t have to do anything because IRS has already the DD information on file.

Looked at my Bank Account....Stimulas Payment Deposit聽 Pending April 15....(interesting date).....I will have to go back for the other 1,200....after the powers that be Approve the "Married聽 Joint 1040x" I am not leaving any free money on the table, yet I am wondering was the聽 Stimulas Information聽 came from the聽 IRS or SSA....

Hi guys,
Being local, I will let you know if anything happens.
Now Mr. Trump wants to reignite the country on May 1st.聽 If things are better by then and he does reopen, if the contamination goes up again he will be done.
I guess both our countries are in bad hands.

There will allways be a "Carrier/ This thing may become Seasonal.....forecast June- September then Flu Season begins.....

To continue either course Open /Close is Detrimental,聽 as my children would say "Whatever"聽 Desperate times Create Desperate Decisions... Blame Trump for Any,Every and All....

Can anything Run after a year of rust...can ones body function after 1 year of sedentary stagnation. ...

As a Colonel once told me during a Article 15 Inquiry (lol)"聽 Sargeant you are the Master of Your Destiny"聽 and I was like "Carpe Deim"....

I wish all well politics and opinions aside, it will take us "All" to beat this thing....Interesting thing I read last night "Obummer called dependants, Killary deplorables, Trump Americans. ..my 2 cents for Free...

We'll be observing quarantine until ALL of the following occur:
1. The Governor of Amazonas lifts it, and
2. The daily number of cases reported in Manaus stops increasing, and is on a clear, unambiguous downward trend, and
3. The health authorities agree that it's safe to start returning to normal activities again.

Viruses aren't sentient:聽 they don't respond to optimism, they don't get discouraged by defiance, they don't retreat from bravado.聽 They only exist to replicate and disperse their genetic material, and any available host will do.

Don't be an available host.

Just do not know when. Foz spent 7.5 million for additional beds (100), and 40 respirators in Feb.
To date still holding at 29 confirmed and deaths.
There is amendment to partial opening of Barber and salon shops and a few others to 50% of fire code people and private security allow only the people to stay 3m spacing. ( will open for discussion on the 21st) All mercados have been under sanitize all carts and hand carries after each use. Some smaller mercados had to shut down due to costs.
Currently C. Policia has issued 4 fines each maximum. $R 8,600.

Wow!聽 The Blackbird does nearly one kilometer each second.聽
If it were flying very low one would not be able to really see it.聽 It would be like a flash.
I have stood next to one, in Arizona, and it really is impressive.

188 is easier than a little Cessna (heavier). Just "crab " into the cross wind and last second touch down on windward wheel(s) and use a lot of rudder on the ground.
Now on a carrier.........you have are "puckered"! Luck for me I could just hover and slide into the carrier or runway. (Runway, I don't need no stink'n runway)
Those "bush pilots" can out fly many!

Yup , Just made my journy from canada, to usa, then to brasil, just landed a few hours ago, Ill tell you what i saw first hand in my travels.

While in canada , a cleaner at the airport coughed at me , called me a dirty gringo ( was wearing my brasil baseball cap so all nice yellow and green ) and not wearing a mask. So must have some resentment towards brasil. lol. asides from that, go through checkout no one checked my temperature, asked if i had any symptoms, cool - got on the plane, only 3 other people going from toronto to orlando airport, got off at orlando airport to no tsa check for coming in the country, was just off the plane then free to wander the airport, staff not wearing masks ( well maybe about 25% from what i visually saw i didnt scour the airport )

so 10 hour layover , stayed in the hotel for a long time to pass the time was too excited to sleep because coming home,

Get to pickup my ticket and lots of people being denied entry as they stated at azul airlines " you cannot pass as international travel is not possible for estrangiera , lots of angry people. but i had to do the machismo bit when i got my turn to speak to a supervisor after a battle of witty words. Supervisor comes over and even though i am brazilian through child, if i didnt pay that exuberant visa overstay i would of been denied regardless lol. which obviously came with juros,

Get on the brazil plane full of old people, crippled people all returning home not a seat was free.聽 got to VCO 0 issues there as the airline advised of my coming via whatsapp,聽 get on my transfer flight - again full plane. lol but everyone on the brazil flights was all wearing masks and sanitizer for days, but im going to assume this was middle class ++ as the cost of the tickets are quite expensive right now.

now before i spend time with my kiddo, waiting 2 - 4 weeks before i have her over to make sure all is well

What麓s really concerning is it麓s ability to cause pneumonia - a slow and excruciating suffocation. Once they put you on the ventilator, it麓s almost over. That麓s why before the hospital intubate you for the ventilator in the states, they let you call your loved ones first.

People has to be wiser and look at the statistics. Milan reopened early and there was a devastation in a week or so. Too late when they learned their lesson.

The US doubled COVID-19 cases every 6 days or so. It slowed down significantly after businesses were closed. Now 2,000 dead and 30,000 new cases everyday. If not because of the shutdown, it could be more...

You of course realize that a country麓s economy begins to become fragile after 2 months of shutdown. 6 months to September would be really humbling and could become THE GREAT GLOBAL DEPRESSION equal only if not more than 1929. That麓s why Trump is hurrying to reignite the US economy next May. I suspect only 5 months can trigger that crisis. Every nation on earth is indebted including its citizens so the only solution would be really to write off every indebtedness, forgive its others debts and start anew.

Going back to the gold standard would be great. The last time I looked gold could be worth $10,000 an ounce or more if that occurs. Time to put GLD or a Junior Miner麓s ETF to one麓s investment portfolio?

Technically, we麓re still in a global recession. Next phase is global depression. The thing to watch is when China dumps all their US treasury notes and starts buying physical gold and gold equities. Be watchful of the price increases of GLD...
