my very first visit to Brazil, I landed at Tancredo on a Sunday in 2014 when there was a game in progress in Belo Horizonte.聽 I rented a car and got my hands on a rough map of the town on an advertising brochure and I set on down the road to find (1. cash and 2. a computer so that I could access Google maps and 3.聽 get out of town headed northeast.).聽 You know, riot cops with automatic rifles on every corner.

I actually succeeded.聽 But its been getting easier ever since ......

Globo won exclusive broadcast rights to the games, meaning they will air all games played throughout the event.

I am oblivious on how you can meet other Americans in Brasilia , but i am sure they gather around some place.聽 A Bar or Lounge, a Church, something of that sort should be your starting point to get a few gals and guys to share your snacks and beer over a game on the telly.聽
