Passport photo downtown Rio

Hi all

I need to get some passport photos. I know there is a photo box at GIG but wanted to avoid going all the way to the airport. Have tried some photo stores but they are not able to help. Has to be 35 mm x 45 mm. Anyone with a tip ? Botafogo area would be closest (Rio Sul shopping area)

There are all kinds of photo shops in the Botafogo area. I'm sure you'll be able to find a couple of places in Botafogo Praia Shopping. Almost all of the camera shops and photo shops take passport photos.

Hi Pete,

Bhavna is one of Expat-blog's administratve staff, EB is located in Mauritius. While I am here in Brazil, she on the other hand is in Mauritius.

Hi Cabo Frio,

Don't know if you found a photo shop for your passport photos yet, but I checked at Shopping Botafogo Praia and there's a place on the ground level, right at the very back, near the Vivo store. They take passport photos and process them while you wait.
