05/13/25 @bepmoht.聽 I received an empty cushioned envelope from Amazon on May 8:聽 the side had been carefully cut on on the seam (not ripped) and the goods extracted.聽 Could be a random coincidence, or not.

That鈥檚 really bizarre. Delivering a empty package. I guess you鈥檒l never see those funds refunded. I think these vendors online need to add more reliable shipping options like Jadlog and Loggi. Correios/Sedex is just too iffy.

05/14/25 @bepmoht.聽 Amazon processed the refund within an hour of my reporting it.聽 They're very good that way.

Our porteiro actually questioned the apparently empty envelope;聽 the delivery person said, "Maybe he ordered a document? "聽 I only found the sliced seam in inspecting the envelope.

It was only replacement side brushes for our Roombas:聽 not a very profitable haul for whoever took them.

Looks like correios is not paying there contracted freight haulers. A nice way to stop an already antiquated system.

Just conversed with the local correios office. He verified nothing was leaving S茫o Paulo due to truckers not being paid. He said on a typical day they would receive and deliver 300+ packages. Since the truckers stopped rolling, he says it鈥檚 been around 30 packages per day at their office. Supposedly, they have now been paid and things are going to start moving. However, with a backlog of thousands of packages I鈥檓 thinking it鈥檚 going to be a while before I see anything like normal delivery again.
