Lookiing for an apartment in Las Condes

Dear All锛�

My husband and I will move to Chile for couple of years and we are looking for an apartment in Las Condes.

Some one told us, we cannot rent apartment until聽 we get a local ID, otherwise, the property management will not sign contract with us, is that true?聽聽聽 If yes, does any of you have any idea that how about a workingt ID?聽聽Can we rent a place by using our working ID in Santiago?

As the person who provided us above info. also suggested us to stay in AirBnb for a month, but we really would like to find an apartment right after our arrival.
