can anyone help me what is the cost of transport聽 from聽 Guayaquil
to Cuenca arriving in march with 4 large suitcases
can we get someone from Cuenca to pick us up as we will use him again

$12 per person.聽 Sometimes they charge a little more for extra bags, sometimes not.

Expect to pay 480 TO $100.

You will probably arrive late at night in GYE.

Your hotel can arrange transportation.

Edd quoted the shared van, 4 bags will definitely cost extra. $80 should get you a private van.

At what time do you arrive to Guayaquil?
Is not advise to travel at night and is better to stay in a hotel and聽 departure first hour in the morning.

Let me know, maybe I can get some one with a van from Cuenca.

thanks all for replies
we were quoted $100 by a driver in Cuenca and thought it excessive as some people pointed out you can get there for $12 but it seems having 4 large bags bumps the price
we are staying a few nights in guayaquil to fix up our聽 6 month visa another question is that easy to do and do we need anything special hope to meet a lot of you when we get settled
