Skilled workers in Saskatchewan

If you wish to apply under the skilled workers category, you can do so if you already have a job offer from an employer in Saskatchewan, or if your job is a skilled occupation ( "0", "1", "2" or "3") and is not on the , or if you are already accepted in the category of Canada's immigration services.

Saskatchewan work experience

To apply in this category, you must already live in Saskatchewan with a valid permit. The requirements may vary depending on your profile.

Holders of a valid work permit

You can apply in if you have been working in Saskatchewan for at least six months with a valid work permit, and you meet the following conditions:

• you have an offer for a permanent full-time job classified in categories 0, 1, 2, or 3 of the ;

If you meet the minimum eligibility criteria, you will then be accepted into a pool of candidates where you will be ranked based on your profile and a points grid. The highest-ranked candidates will be invited to apply in the entrepreneurs category.

A minimum of three years of experience obtained within the last ten years in business management is required. You will also need to prove that you have a minimum amount of 500,000 CAD and make an investment of at least 300,000 CAD in Regina and Saskatoon, or at least 200,000 CAD elsewhere in Saskatchewan. This investment must be at least 1 million Canadian dollars if you will own less than one-third of the business.
