I am a Canadian living in Atlantic Canada who loves to travel, hates winter and very badly wants to live in a warm country. Two years ago, my husband and I visited Costa Rica, hired a car and travelled around it. The views in some areas are incredible and the people are so friendly. Even though I could speak very little Spanish, I was able to be understood and everyone tried really hard and willingly to communicate with us. I believe that this will be the place that we retire to in the next few years.
