I will be moving to live in Goiana in the next 6-8 months. My son and grandchildren live there and I have taken early retirement from the school system as a speech therapist in order to move. I am worried about an apartment near Setor Bueno (where my son lives) and access to grocery stores. I have a 27 lb poodle mix that I worry about traveling in cargo but... I don't believe I have a choice. I wanted to buy him a ticket in order to crate and have next to me. Don't think that will happen. I also wondered how to get various housewares to be shipped over. I am traveling in May in order to price out the apartments, appliances and furniture I will need. I am told there are no furnished apartments/homes for rent. I have at least 6 to 7 hundred a month to pay on rent. Any advice regarding this adventure is welcome!!
