My expat journey

Groves, Texas, USA
I live independently with my daughter, I already have all my documents to practice in this country...it is not easy...but not impossible either...my main project is to achieve a better level of English and achieve new labor certifications...to achieve the acceptance of my 2 degrees. University students...to achieve future promotions...better remuneration and stability...
Like every immigrant you start with the basics...in a restaurant...housekeeping (there are different types of housekeping depending on the place of work, one is more or less specialized and depending on this they pay you) I currently work as a nursing assistant at the Baptist Hospital in Beaumont...texas
I like Texas...specifically where I live...because it is far from the congestion of the big city...Houston (1 hour) there is work all year round, it does not depend on tourism...there is a lot of work (more than 15 refineries and companies that work for the refineries) it is a compound of 5 towns within very short distances, Beaumont being the largest...and if you want the hectic life you have Houston 1 hour away...the salaries are very good pir being an industrial zone...the rent is affordable and the quality of life is very good...
Because they are flat towns, they are flooded with nothing...the level of pollution is higher than other cities due to the refineries...the beaches or the sea are very close, it is bordered by the Pacific...the Gulf of Mexico...and I don't like the type of beach...dark and dark sand...there is a lot of Latin rivalry...without wanting to offend anyone...the food I don't like is mostly Tex-Mex or Mexican...very spicy...Louisiana is very close...

My project would be to establish myself legally, with job opportunities, that would allow me to obtain decent housing, that I could go out on the street without any fear, see my daughter grow up with a good level of education, be professional and with a better quality of life...
I would like to work at anything while I manage to stabilize myself, my work performance has been very diverse, I am not ashamed to work, as long as the salary allows me to live in peace.
I like the climate, it's similar to my country, the diversity of culture, the opportunities for growth...
There are many Latinos, and the job field is difficult for Latino immigrants. I would like to live away from Miami.
