Recently moved by myself to Langkawi for work in early 2014, i'm in the food & beverage line with Starwood Hotels. Eventually I intend to move within Asia Pacific and then beyond that. I love the idea of work and travel. Love to get to know people's stories and experiences. Sitting by the beach and listening to the waves with a book in hand is something new for me recently. Embracing the beach life as I work in a beach resort, getting tanned unintentionally is part of my daily routine. Meeting people who travelled from miles away and seeing them so enthusiastic does bring me joy.

Hello. I'm sure this topic's been posted before but I cannot find it. I will be moving to Langkawi in a month's time and would like to know the real cost of living in Langkawi. I've heard you can live comfortably for RM1000 a month or less ...
