Hello, I am French, retired living in 78 (Yvelines). My wife has been French by marriage since 1966. As she is of Portuguese origin (Aveiro), we have kept her family heritage and we have been spending the sunny months in Portugal (April-October) for five years (her retirement). We are not, for reasons of civic ethics, strictly speaking, expatriates, we reside in France, even if it may be for less than six months. Portugal is a country that we know well, a second homeland, we feel as good there as in France. We are happy to meet you and participate in the occasional life of French people abroad.
