My expat journey

Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain
I continue to develop my activities on the internet, I manage an online store outside of my work, I enjoy the city with my girlfriend
Me and my girlfriend work at Amazon (not in the same department), I find it very educational as I am also passionate about ecommerce, I have the chance to interact with entrepreneurs and learn more about how the site works.
The weather is really nice, we also have rain but rather rare (unlike Ireland) So I can skate every day!
My salary at Amazon is interesting compared to offers on the job market in Barcelona.
Tortilla! tomato bread and cold meats :D
Disrespectful tourists, Barcelona being very popular, the Catalans can no longer stand tourists. In fact, some young people do anything and everything, such as pissing on the sidewalks in front of residents' doors... As a result, city hall agents come by 3 times a day with jets of water to clean the streets. It's impossible to swim at the Barceloneta beach in summer, the sea becomes a giant trash can and you have to go there before 10 a.m. if you don't want to swim among the waste. Grocery stores 3 to 4 times more expensive than stores.

Sydney, New South Wales, Australia
I went to Sydney with my girlfriend right after Ireland when we wanted a change.
I found a fixed-term contract 1 and a half months after arriving. A versatile position in charge of the website, responding to customers in French, managing marketing campaigns (email and social networks) and creating a business plan
The climate which has nothing to do with Ireland :D,
The high remuneration,
Bubble tea!!
The purchase of my Evolve Carbon electric skateboard (Made in Australia),
A unique landscape
Insects much larger than in Europe,
The high cost of living ($1600 for a roommate 45 minutes by metro from downtown Sydney),
It's not easy to find a job in marketing as an expatriate, it's difficult to travel without a car and it takes at least 4 hours to travel between 2 cities,
.3 months to return suitcases to France

Dundalk, Leinster, Ireland
I met my girlfriend, I started to take a serious interest in website creation, digital marketing, I took SEO courses at the University of Dundalk and earned some money alongside my work.
I started my first job at PayPal in September 2014 in Customer Service, then in August 2016 I moved to a Sales position at National Pen
I was only 1.5 hours from Dublin by bus, lots of things to do in Dublin, I had a great Taekwondo club in Dundalk and I made very good friends.
The weather made me flee the country after 2 years.
