I am originally from Beaune in Burgundy and have been living in Lille for a few months. I'm getting ready to go to Mayotte at the beginning of February (yes, it's coming soon), so it's time for me to find out a little more about the island. I'm going to follow my lover who has to do an internship there and I'm going to take the opportunity to do my research with a view to writing my dissertation (I'm in a Master's degree in French as a Foreign Language). My subject: the implementation of French/Mahorese bilingualism in primary school classes in response to academic failure. If you have any reactions, they are welcome!
