Hello, Recently arrived in Switzerland for a new job, I am discovering, slowly but surely, my new surroundings... Bravo to the author of this site, it's an excellent initiative! I work at EPFL but live (temporarily, I hope) in Pully. I like hiking (so I was lucky!), cooking, board games, reading, cinema... and discovering new cultures, which I am delighted to be able to do again! For now, I like Lausanne for: - its magnificent surroundings, its magical landscapes and more varied than I would have believed, its surrounding villages - the lake and the mountains, which we always see on the horizon - the lake (always) by which we walk and which never seems the same - life in Lausanne... well, frankly, I haven't had the opportunity to really get to know it, but I can't wait!
