Hi I moved from Manchester England two years ago to Cavan with my husband and three daughters although one of my girl's attend college she had made a couple of friends, but my other teenage daughter who is twenty yrs has found it very difficult and is going through a bout of depression since moving here which is so sad because she was such a bubbly outgoing person back home, and I do worry about her welfare. My husband goes out to the local pubs to chat to the locals but has not made any serious friendships. I myself have not found and friends people say hello in passing but that's about it I do wish there was a meet up group for expats in my cavan town just so we can vent some of our frustrations it so lonely out here rant over.
