Hello fellow Canuck musician. I went to Ecuador last April and found it very nice buy not sure about retirement there. I came across another expat who suggested Medallin Columbia. So many questions but my first concern is bringing my home based studio into the country and how to do so. I also have Rolands v-drums for I was a pro drummer for twenty years playing all styles of music. Was wondering if I should bring them or sell the kit. Also what are your general monthly expenses once converted to canadian dollars. Is it hard to get a visa and get set up in Medallin. Its always great to have someone who has done this to help with the steps needed. Do you do any giging in Medallin and are there needs for a top rate in the box studios for musicians etc. I would love to hear from you if it is possible. Thanks fellow musician and Canack.
