My expat journey

Denmark

Chongqing, China
- Studying International Economics and Trade at Chongqing University
- Working part-time as an English teacher
- The wide varieties of goods and services
- Low prices, great night-life and fun social networks (foreigners struggling with the same shit)
- Overall exotic and just plain different
- Annoying habits (to me)
- Limited mentality
- A lot of goddamn bureaucracy and fear of spontaneity

Chisinau, Moldova
- Grew up as someone who didn't really fit in the local wave of culture and life, but turned out more awesome and capable than expected
- Devoted to the sciences of sociology, geography, history, foreign languages and Western pop culture-related stuff
- Was a guide for the British team at a Math Olympiad hosted in my country, joined a debating club for a while and volunteered at an AIESEC project in my last year of high school
Mostly just a pupil at school
Well it IS my homeland, I've had a lot of good times there and my family and some close friends live there, so... yea, I don't really know 'what I like about this destination' ))
PS - the wine (especially the home-made one) is formidable - trust me, I'm a Moldovan... synonymous with drinker
It's had its' ups and downs, but there is something beautiful in the bad complementing the good
