My expat journey

Saint-Pierre, R茅union, Reunion Island
Back home, just to get back on track and get off to a good start!?
HIKING !!!!!!!! <3
Plane tickets are so expensive T.T.

Berrechid, Chaouia-Ouardigha, Morocco
Enter a Moroccan language training center, and take the opportunity to discover the culture of the students, explore this North African country, learn more about gastronomy...
Thanks to Workaway, I was able to learn a lot of things from Moroccans, but also from other school volunteers, from all over the world! And this only by participating in conversations in French class :)
The road from Marrakech to the Sahara Desert is of...ineffable beauty! (especially in winter, with its snowy mountains *.*)
Tagines, ot茅, simple but effective! And even better and cheaper when you learn to make them yourself ;)
As a "tourist", we are constantly in demand in big cities, to spend, spend, and spend more...

Agios Nikolaos, Greece
Discovery of the treasures of Mani, in the splendid Peloponnese region, through the "Workaway" concept: living with a local in exchange for a few hours of work per week; nothing better to learn new things every day! Whether through the tasks accomplished, the long exchanges with the locals, the good meals shared, or even the walks in the surroundings :)
Some domestic work and almost insignificant participation in the laborious olive harvest.
The kindness of the Greeks, the breathtaking beauty of the landscapes (I even cried!) and the wild animals encountered on the bends.
Hitting olive trees to collect the fruit is painful, it's repetitive, it's monotonous, it's long, it's so long.... Never again!

Tuscany, Italy
Discovery of three Italian regions (Piedmont - Liguria - Tuscany) through the "Workaway" concept: living with locals in exchange for a few hours of work each day; nothing better to learn new things every day! Whether through the tasks accomplished, the long exchanges with the locals, the good meals shared, or even the walks in the surroundings :)
From harvesting hazelnuts, to pulling out brambles, to making tomato sauce, to cleaning and even repairing old buildings, I let my little hands trail everywhere! No regrets: I learned lots of things :D
Meeting people and discovering their environment is always a real pleasure. Nothing better for the body and mind than new things!
The spread is obtained through very tedious work, which I had the "misfortune" of tasting... (#harvestofhazelnuts). The irony is that I never consume it!

Chengdu, Sichuan, China
Start my career as a French as a Foreign Language teacher abroad!
Teacher of French as a foreign language at the Montpellier Primary School in Chengdu.
The kindness of the Chinese, very attentive towards foreigners 鈥渨ithout family鈥; the grandiose landscapes that offer themselves to us when we move away from the big cities; the low cost of living.
The pollution in winter, the high humidity throughout the year and the very (too) spicy cuisine which made me sick.

Le Gosier, Guadeloupe, Guadeloupe
FLE internship at Inter Media Langues Caribbean (FLE training center)
The working environment, the way of life, the human warmth.
An island that we quickly toured! But which remains very pleasant and beautiful to explore :)

Saint-Pierre, R茅union, Reunion Island
A small island in the middle of the Indian Ocean: the best place to grow up!
After "the good life" and long studies, however, you often have to resolve to "skip the sea"...
Hiking!!!!! Let yourself be carried away by the energies of Nature, so beautiful and pure, here :)
The 鈥渢raffic jams鈥 and the high unemployment rate...
