The first trip clinched it. We took public busses from Playa Del Carmen, rented an SUV from Angel in Corozal Town, drove to Placencia and back up. Second trip was the initial property search. Third, this coming January, to buy 20+ acres on Hummingbird. As soon as Clay's company offers the early retirement, we will become Belizeans !

Looking for a place to retire ! by Naturallee

Hello! My Husband and I are looking for a place to retire, We are looking for an area that isn't hot and humid, that doesn't have a zillion mosquitos. We thought perhaps an area away from the beach?? We welcome any advice!
