After an expat in Congo Brazzaville (Pointe-Noire), we joined my husband in Singapore. He has already been there for a year and for my children and me, the adventure begins in August! We have already come to Singapore several times since last year and we find this city truly fantastic. I created a company in France last year (fetedesgateaux.net) and am therefore obliged to stop it due to our expatriation. As part of this business, I organized and led traditional French pastry workshops for adults and children. My other activity is the creation of tailor-made cakes and gourmet tables. These decorated cakes are very popular in the US, UK and other countries with Anglo-Saxon culture but in France, they do not yet have a good reputation because they are criticized for being beautiful but not good... So I set about creating tasty recipes, adapted to the demanding tastes of our compatriots and it works! In Singapore, I will therefore continue to offer my personalized cakes, with their typically French flavors.
