Hello, my sister and I moved to Spain in Valencia, 4 years ago. It is a city in eastern Spain, located on the Mediterranean coast. Valencia is a vibrant city with stunning architecture. It is a metropolis of nearly 2 million inhabitants, it is the third city in Spain in terms of population. Valencia is also the origin of various gastronomic specialties, paella being the best known. It is renowned for its 鈥渇allas鈥� which are held from March 12 to 19. The city is also known for having a rich architectural heritage including the famous City of Arts and Sciences, with its futuristic architecture. The city of Valencia has many parks, including the Viveros Gardens, the botanical garden (which is over 200 years old), and the Turia Gardens, the former bed of the Turia River. Today, in the Turia gardens there are numerous infrastructures and play areas such as Gulliver Park, sports facilities and the IVAM (Valencia Institute of Modern Art). There are also wonderful natural spaces such as the Dehesa del Saler (salt pasture) and the Albufera Natural Park.
