I have written a book about the time myself and a friend went to Poland in 1976 and rorted the communist system making huge profits and having a ball. The book is on Amazon titled "Two Aussies in Commo Poland"
I am retired and spending my time writing another book about our trips to the USSR also in 1976. This trip was even more outrageous as we made fools of the KGB bufoons who followed us everywhere.
Great lifestyle, fantastic clean beaches and mild climate
Australia is expensive, a lot more expensive than USA or Europe.
