Montreal is a heaven for art and music lovers. The food is awesome. People are great. There is a lot you can learn from the French Culture and language. There are a number of outdoor activities including skydiving, bungee jumping, kayaking, trekking, skiing etc. You could see the seasons change. The city and areas surrounding it are of great scenic beauty.
Snow, snow and snow! 6 months a year! Temperature sometimes drops to a -40 C and usually it is as cold as -25 to -30 on an average winter.

I was a student at Vancouver Film School learning Animation and Visual Effects for films.
Student
Great city. Very cosmopolitan. Good-hearted, tolerant people. Excellent public facilities. The weather was not too bad. Beautiful lush green cityscapes and great tourist place around to visit.
There is nothing that I do not like about Vancouver. There is some concern about the drug trafficking in the east side of the downtown, but it is contained well by the police and local authorities.
