I am a 45 year old married man who lives in Newcastle NSW Australia. My wife and I are currently planning an early retirement to Chiang Mai in the next 12-18 months and are in the very early stages of researching visa requirements, employment, housing options etc. I am a musician with a home studio and regularly write and record ambient piano and guitar based instrumental music. My wife and I are both members of a local running club here in Newcastle and try to participate in as many running events as we can, although my wife clearly does this more often than I can find the time to. We have an investment property and are about to invest in another with the view to renovate and "flip". We hope to utilise this method of investment to realise our dream of retiring to Chiang Mai within the next 18 months.
