About

I am originally from Sheffield in England. I trained as a psychiatric nurse and practiced for nine years ( I quit the profession after a year in practice in Canada and two failed exam results. A requirement for qualified nurses entering the country is you have to take the Canadian nurses qualifying exam to continue to practice, even though you have passed a qualifying exam in a country which speaks the same language, and paid for n evaluation of the English course by a Canadian service, concluding it is the same in equivellancy to a Canadian nursing program). I was also a correctional officer for 4 years in an inner city jail in London. My hubby and I emigrated to Canada in 1999. We are currently afloat and looking at alternatives for our retirement years. I am 49 years old and began a new career in the culinary field in 2015. I have two step children in their twenties , whom live in England, and three rescue poochies who live with us in our home in innisfail. My hubby works in the oil and gas industry and is one of five kids. The youngest son of a royal marine. He is a former military man, he speaks four languages: Arabic, Africaans, german and English. Nick ( my hubby) is also a scuba diving instructor as of four years ago.... Looking forward to meeting people from back home

I loved being close to some of the great parks and close to the underground in any direction for London. I was very lucky I lived in a great apartment with four bedrooms.
Too expensive.my hubby and I both worked two jobs and ran a host family service for students learning English from all over the world.
