Alicante, Valencia, Spain

I would like to live there with my partner. Travel before settling down for 3 months a year, because we want to take the pulse of Spanish life in Alicante, to see if it would suit us. We would live there in about 2 years, until my lover's children were adults. Also we would like to live 3 months in Florida during the year, to come back to Canada for 6 months. So that still gives us time to gather all the information possible. I would like to talk with Canadians who are expatriates in these 2 places.
