I am retired. Bride. We live on the French Riviera. Our project: to emigrate to Portugal. After a 15-day prospecting trip (September 2016) we selected as a possible landing site: Cascais. We were unable to check if there was wind in this area. There were none when we visited. (We would prefer to avoid a windy area). Tavira and its surrounding region. We stayed in Cabanas de Tavira and the area appealed to us. Only black spot. A little isolated in case of health problems. Language would not be a problem for us, we would be willing to learn it on site. The problem that seems to arise for us: we would like to rent a property for the year. Products for rent seem rare.
